Texas “Humane” (????) Legislation Network (THLN, Terrible Hellish Liar’s Network,
Texas  Inhumane Hexing Legislation Webwork, THLN) assassinated  the 2011 Texas
Companion Animal Protection Act which if passed would’ve banned gassing death
of shelter pets as of 2012.  Then in spring 2013 THLN backed a bill to end gassing--
since then THLN claims credit for ending gassing! THLN isn’t informing $$$ money
donors that it blocked the end of gassing by TWO YEARS during which time 30,000
more Texas shelter pets died horribly in gas chambers!   THLN has pals in the State
Legislature who often are very raunchy (DWI offenses, excessive speeding---public
temper tantrums, barratry, overdue child support and more); very flaky operators
of debased moral character who frequently appear in the Texas Monthly roster of
“Worst Legislators.”  THLN has insinuated its bad influence into many organizations
including media who seem unable to disavow its corruption---including regulatory
agencies! In 2019 THLN exerted to excuse shelter managers from  requirements to
maintain intake and outgo records, and THLN lobbied to prevent shelter managers
from being required to responsibly post notice of “epizootic” infections in shelters!
THLN is Texas associate of Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) whose CEO
Wayne Pacelle resigned in disgrace over sex scandals.  In 2014 Oklahoma Attorney
General issued a consumer warning against HSUS.   HSUS officials have been in hot
water for armed robbery; sex trafficking a minor----and a half dozen DC lawmakers
in Congress have called for Federal investigation of HSUS!     In fall 2019 the Austin
Better Business Bureau dropped THLN from “accredited charity” status.  To see the
